Character. A well-regarded one-day MTB marathon near Igualada in central Catalonia. Rocky limestone singletrack, technical descents, and a field that includes elite and strong amateur riders.

Conditions. Catalan April: 12–20 °C, dry to mixed, Mediterranean spring. Rocky limestone terrain drains well but is abrasive.

Lube plan

If you wax — ZFC-recommended path. 80 km of Catalan rocky singletrack is well within any top wax's single-application life. Pre-event immersive wax, nothing else needed in dry April conditions.

If you're on oil — pragmatic equivalent. Standard pre-event application covers 80 km comfortably. Dry rocky conditions — nothing special required.
